The Tulsa Equity Alliance created this hub space to bring efforts & information together for the community. This will make it easier for folx to be informed, find ways to move in their interests, and take action.

WHO ARE YOU?

There are many ways for YOU to get involved with community work.

THE ADVOCATE

The Advocate is a person who publicly supports or recommends a particular cause or policy.

THE DONOR

The Donor is a person who seeks to promote the welfare of others by donating something, especially money to a fund, charity or cause.

THE VOLUNTEER

The Volunteer is a person who freely offers to take part in an enterprise or undertake a task.

THE EDUCATOR

The Educator is a person who helps others to acquire knowledge, competence, or virtue.

THE ACTIVIST

The Activist is a person who campaigns to bring about political or social change.

THE ORGANIZER

The Organizer is a person who coordinates efforts to promote the interests of their community.

THE RESEARCHER

The Policy Researcher/Analyst is a person who studies the impact that current and proposed laws may have on people.

THE LAWYER

The Lawyer is a person who a person who practices or studies law; an attorney or a counselor.

THE POLITICIAN

The Politician is a person who is professionally involved in politics, as a holder of or a candidate for an elected office.
